- TTTaniaJan 16, 20261.0It's been closed for the past few days and this is during the week. The staff have called in sick I am told and there is no one to cover. I find it hard to believe there is only one member of staff in such a large Post Office. They are also not open until 8pm as the opening hours state and doubt they are open from 6am either.

Or indeed any time on a Sunday despite what opening hours on the PO own website say. If you go at lunchtime on a week day you might actually find it open, but be prepared to queue down the aisles with half the population of St Mellons...

However the staff at the store were extremely pleasant...a young pregnant lady and a time I attended before was again another lady's name beginning with W cannot recall her full name yet ever so apologetic but taking into account the current situation that due to staff shortages it seems evident that other members of the public writing reviews do not take into consideration that if staff are not trained and they simply cannot assist, and surely any customer using the post office would prefer transactions and other aspects required are done accurately. I have no issue with the staff here they are very pleasant and I will happily return.
